Everyday I see your work and everyday I’m blown away by it
So true. If you focus on engagement here you get bored pretty quickly.
Yes that will make a nice print. I didn’t notice the flies, but see them all now. I need to look at this via monitor. First look was on iPhone
Wow great execution by both if you. So much detail to explore too, right down to the snake & apple. Are those tarot cards in that scene too?
haha yeah, my knot-tying skills are pretty lame too. Thanks for the engagement. It's interesting to see the different directions photographers and models go with their work.
I've seen different forms of shibari, but never heard of self-tie before and certainly not in nature. I think the sketchiness of it all adds to the allure.
aahh yes, I can see now it's just the branch if I zoom in far enough. It's really an eye-catching image having the model suspended over the water like that, not an easy set up at all, but a powerful result. An image like this gives me more questions than answers...and I'm ok with that)
This whole scene us surreal. What’s she holding in her left hand?
For wildflowers and high alpine scenery, areas around Crested Butte are amazing. For unique high desert scenes, Hartman Rocks near Gunnison is really nice. Its 4.5 hour drive from Denver though or 30 min flight
I absolutely have noticed, especially the last month or two. Beautiful shot by the way)
Wow. Love this detail!
Same rock, same scene, three different backgrounds based on varying depth of field and my orientation to the model. Crazy how background affects your spatial awareness in a photo.
That's a really good point. I like that too. I need to do a better job posting 'stop & think' photos here and there. I tend to get stuck in a pattern of posting full body, half body, and portrait pics...overlooking detail shots that can be interesting too. Thanks for your input!
Probably more luck than anything else) It’s nice to know the gear can take some abuse. I definitely don’t baby it
Thanks Danny. Something different 🙊
Regarding your other comment: Yes! Collaborative models I really like working with. They go all in and definitely have skin in the game. Avery is one of my favorites to work with 🥰
When the sun came out behind the clouds I made the stupid decision to get in front of the rock between wave sets, turning my back on what was coming in. I just remember my head being underwater and holding my arm with the camera up toward the sky. I thought for sure it would be toasted.
