I usually go with a quarter or third of the book. Even if people say "the end is good" or something that doesn't justify reading through uninteresting media for the rest of the book FOR ME.
BUT I rarely read books to begin with, too busy drawing very slowly x3

Stay strong and keep looking for the small sparks. They will return eventually, it will take time. We cannot force them sadly, but we can keep trying. What starts as a "at least not bad" will become "kinda alright" and eventually "nice actually".
