I will NEVER use an AI-powered grading tool in my teaching, a) because I think it's an abdication of responsibility, and b) I'm not into professional suicide. Thus, I am royally PISSED that a colleague is doing exactly that in a course that Boy 1 is currently taking. What the actual fuck.

Wow, wow, wow. This has always been legally possible but the law has virtually never been enforced — and now this is the SECOND case I've heard of in the last month (first involving a person with a green card) of a noncitizen being charged for failure to carry their papers.
