I agree!! Thank you, you too. Fingers crossed for us both 🍀🤞🏼
A lovely Friday afternoon spent reflecting on gratitude @positivitea-eps.bsky.social ✨ The perfect reminder to stay positive after doctorate interviews, plus a lovely catch-up with a familiar face @sopheldertep.bsky.social! #EdPsychs #PositivITEA

“Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.”

Look after yourself. Be gentle with yourself. This too will pass 🧡

When you’re feeling overwhelmed and there’s so much to do. The world feels a mess and your house does too. All we can do is take a day at a time, as everyone says, it’ll all be fine. Picture by Emily Cox head. Black writing on a white background.
Sunrises / sunsets and a bit of warmth! ✨
I’d love this! I use therapeutic letters in EBSA cases. In situations where I visit and the YP doesn’t yet feel safe or comfortable enough to engage with me directly or share their voice, I find that writing a therapeutic letter can be a valuable approach 🩷
Thanks Emma! I’ll have a browse now 👀
It’s my first year applying! I’ve also heard back from 2/3. It is so so brutal, hope you are keeping well 😊🩷

Sounds brill ! I love the idea of your talking stones set ☺️
I’ve planned to do it with one of the YP transitioning back to mainstream after permanent exclusion. So going to focus on the positives, their skills and aspirations/hopes for the future 💭
Thank you! I love yours. Also thanks @fionacoley.bsky.social for remembering 🩷 I’m going to have a look around this weekend!
#EdPsychs Does anyone have recommendations for bead sets to use in ‘Beads of Life’ sessions? Looking for a set with a variety 😊

This is a really important thematic review being carried out by Ofsted. Good to see that the voices of children and their families are also being captured, in addition to education professionals.
#Ofsted inspectors will speak to schools and families this spring to find out why children with SEND are not in schools and how their needs are being met
Ofsted to investigate why pupils with SEND are leaving education
Reviews will focus on pupils not in school, those receiving a part-time education and those who are severely absent

Had a lovely long snowy weekend in Berlin ❄️

Now it’s back to work, planning direct support for young people transitioning from a pupil referral unit back to mainstream 🧩 #edpsychs

The story of Mud Boy is a 10 minute read. It helps children to understand what bullying is, how it might feel to be bullied, and the importance of telling someone if it happens. There are some great read-throughs on YouTube. This one is particularly good… youtu.be/AtG0ZBWKGGY?...

This inspirational story of an educational journey, that started at a PRU but ended with a DPhil from Oxford, is food for thought around closing doors, systemic injustice and second chances:

We absolutely love these infographics Surrey EPS have been putting together and did not want #Espsychs & #Edusky to miss out on them!

So... With the permission of Surrey EPS we will be sharing one of their AMAZING Infographics each Friday so you can make use of them 😍

Becoming an AsEP at 24 came with a lot of feelings, especially imposter syndrome. Now 25 and applying for the doctorate I feel a lot more confident in myself. I really resonate with the younger generation. Like Licia, I see my age as a strength in my practice! #edpsychs
Can I be added please 🙋🏼‍♀️
