i havent written poems by hand in years, but i really miss creating meandering, labyrinthine poems with no ending in mind until youre about to run out of white space...
a dozen or so short, disjointed poetic stanzas of handwritten text in blocked sections. Throwing Out My Spells

every agent of the in-between eventually reaches his or her plateau.
he or she (in order to advance their obia abilities©) must throw
away all of yesterday's playbook... because spells sometimes spoil
and the throat closes up, allergic to the mildew of old mojo; most
wisdoms can be re: frigerated but all spiritual ingredients come with
an expiration date. unused portions of new portents break down and
become poison (potentially!) some seal their songs in vaseline and
tobacco leaf or within the sugarcane sheath...but it takes a true
conjure-pure to make any good cure from an obia's bad idea. best to
not take that chance, but fear of a bad rune is not the reason i'm
throwing out my spells... it's time i rinse myself anew in rainbow
excrements, wash away the silt built up on the basins of my
uncommon senses, rinsing spiritual resins in self renewal: this is the
difference between a good roux and old gravy and there can be no
rancid gravity to a pro conqueroo's gris! i must journey to the ascend
of the universe... connect through crossroads to the rising sun; secret
handshake with shango anew; hymn with the egun; slap five with the
penumbral, the pharaohs from middle africa long forgotten. i throw
out my spells to go and make a myth of me, becoming the most
mortal, a portal to my own people - the pigment of your imagination.

Damn yo what if the United States empire was collapsing. Just imploding & losing all its function because its white supremacist history culminated in a dictator. That would be crazy, yo. Nah that would never happen.

we used to own a small coffeeshop that sold 6" pizzas (the crust was store-bought but the toppings were fresh) - i loved the one with mozz, cherry tomatoes, and fresh spinach...
