Tooth pain is one of the few things Jas immediately turns to magic for relief

In Luka's country, there is the Circle of Mages. They are informally called the Fellowship, alluding to the shadow government organization imbedded within them that is an open secret

They're one of the main antagonists

Does your setting have folksongs? What about?

Luka's town or Respite is big on the apple harvest and the Loom forest has a lot of legends tied to it, so a lot of their so gs reflect that bounty with a bit of fey nature

Jas's toxic trait is to cover up his personal insecurities with biting sarcasm. It ramps up the more invested he is, so when he falls for Luka it manifests in some brutal quips to anyone unlucky enough to be on the receiving end

Luka's toxic trait is expecting her way 99% of the time and being utterly convinced that her ideas are correct in all situations. While it makes her a strong decision maker, it's exhausting correct her when she's wrong
