But they act all “concerned”, and frown, and use big words and the press acts like the performance is real but we all know they’ll fall into line in the end.

They don’t object to Nazis and never really had an issue with Trump.

What they didn’t like was his tone and how he kept saying the quiet part out loud. McConnell wanted to slip the knife in so slowly that we wouldn’t notice as much, but Trump’s a Texas Chainsaw Massacre type of guy.

On a more serious note, with them trying to destroy every support system, we have to make some our own at the ground roots level. Christmas is good time to do that since this is when charities are so active anyhow.

So connect with your community and find the people falling through the cracks.

It’s not even a real boycott because:

1. We need to hoard every cent because of the collapsing economy, world chaos, & a homicidal dictatorship.

2. All of the above make shopping less fun. I’ll just do more volunteer work, loudly sing Christmas carols while drunk & make tons of cookies instead.

It should also be considered that Hulu and Disney are now included with some other paid service so lots of people can’t really cancel.

But they can stop watching. And that affects ad revenue. The article doesn’t mention the impact of people who quit watching and are still not watching.

I’m sorry, but this administration’s weird hang up on alpha males, muscles and stuff either makes me think of romance novels or some gay porn wonderland.

They think they’re being all macho, but the culture’s changed, and a lot us are actually seeing this:

It’s still like that.

Rs know that they can say/do something discriminatory, and Ds will chase after it like a bone missing the big picture: that it’s really about their pyramid scheme and power grabs. Gotta make up reasons to keep people down so they can stay on top.

When you look at the history of the world in general, a lot of bs about other people is just a made up rationalizations for all kinds of messed up stuff.

R voters tend to claim they have certain reasons for voting a certain way (economy, taxes, etc), but their behavior doesn’t match that which means something deeper is going on.

More psychology, less politics & self-reporting because self-reporting won’t predict reaction as much as one would like.

The problem with these poll questions is that they imply that a certain way of voting follows from these opinions. In the case of this administration, you can’t assume that.

I suspect a shocking number of people would find some way to rationalize their vote for him, even under these circumstances.

Trickle down was made optional.

A naive segment of the old Main Street Rs who viewed well-paid employees as good business and being good members of their small communities were scammed by the ultra rich who never intended to follow through.

The manipulation of their own base is massive.
