As much as we'd wish it, cannot simply dump all the executive decision makers in the club, then expect an owner with no football knowledge to suddenly make it all better and bring in the right people. Fans need to get realistic, a change of coach might help, but then again it really might not now

Finding these personal attacks on Manning pathetic. Yes he's failed to get results, win over the fans, not the right fit clearly. But can we stop over analysing every word he says because there's actually nothing wrong with it, no different from every coach and he's obviously a good guy #ncfc

We can make footballing comparisons in the approach to Wagner, but I’m not having this rewriting of history. Wagner had Sara, Rowe, Sainz, Nunez and Sargent at his disposal. He scraped playoffs, it was poor. Genuinely feel sorry for Manning, the destructive recruitment is a major factor here #ncfc

Good article but side point. do think there’s a lot of rewriting of that derby performance going on. For large periods, we were very much up for it, home fans were getting pissed. Just lacked the quality to make it pay then heads dropped. The last 20 has tainted the game for many I suspect.

Tbf for 55mins there were some notable performances, Kenny, Mattsson, Schwartau, cordoba, Stacey were all having good games imo. But once again we lacked cohesion in attacking third, and crumbled to an easy defeat.

Yeh totally, just think any talk about 2018, starting slowly etc is a total fallacy. This isn’t ever going to be comparable even if results did uptick, it’s clear we’re still a mid table squad at best. The club have completely mis represented where we are and it’s going to bite hard

Do think there’s a real imbalance, lack of personality and technical ability in forward areas with this squad knapper has built, drastically short of what we had in 2018. If it clicks this season it’ll still be functional and workmen like, so any comparison to 2018 is miles off!

City fans might have to come to terms with the fact that the football they’re expecting to see departed when JHT was axed. LM sides have never controlled games in the manner fans are now demanding. This reality is the new reality, better suck it up.
