Coming in to volunteer, found out that someone broke into the warehouse where we store donations and stole a bunch of donated sleeping bags and jeans, with cold weather around the corner.

Anyone able to help us out:

apologize for reminding you of something you find unpleasant. to me it looks more like a narrow pyramid representing the old Denver built on the stockyards that once surrounded the city & meat processing plants in town. But I don't know anything about McEnroe, maybe this is deeper than he intended.

Sorry that Bari didn't let you identify the people or say what it was they've said. Nice trying to do journalism, too bad you're no longer able.

being a war criminal seems like it should be a litmus test. dip netanyahou into a solution, it will turn bright red, because of all the children he murdered. you don't need a sensitive meter, the answer is obvious.

they use it so much probably because with the production problems palm oil has been having, soy's the cheapest cooking oil in the US, & we do a lot of deep frying. we grow so much soy—as cattle feed, but it's also a rotational crop as it adds nitrogen to soil—seems unlikely anyone relies on imports
Ranked: America’s Top Crops by Acres Harvested in 2023
The area devoted to growing the three top crops is bigger than the size of Texas. But even on that podium there’s only one king.

without steel egg beaters to whip up the whites and yolks, or Victorian era chemical rising agents, the best you can do is a sweet yeast bread. today's cakes are a small, sweet consolation to the myriad problems of modernity

Gâteau de Savoie was introduced in the 1400's and that was as good as cake got until 1749, when Marquis Domenico Pallavicini had his chef play with eggs to invent the génoise sponge. This was the beginning of the golden age of cake, and we're lucky enough to be still living in it
