Aye, at first I thought that it just turned off for reboot, but then I moved my hand closer to the power button and went "holy shit, this should NOT be THIS hot!"
Some cooling later made it work like a charm. Apparently it didn't trigger the fans on first try, that's why the heat accumulated.

Today I had a mini heart attack thanks to power delivery firmware update
Never before had my machine gotten THIS hot - to the point of turning off due to safety protocols (PD update resets entire power rail)
Thankfully, attempt number two fixed the issue, all runs smooth now
