oh yeah Dexit is complete doodoo trash, you won't hear any arguments from me there. Part of why I stopped with the series entirely. I was under the impression that the outrage was from the NEW pokemon (few as they may be nowadays) because even still people like being surprised.

I haven't seen that personally, but it's true that getting angry over minute details like that is silly. But unless I'm mistaken you were talking about THE ENTIRE POKEMON ROSTER, which is like having all the enemies and bosses of an entire game revealed. And this is speaking as a FORMER pokemon fan.

this is such a bizarre take because like we've SEEN you get hype for a cool boss or moment in a video game, which would not have happened if you had known it was coming. The only reason you think differently here is because its in games you don't care about.

its pretty bad. there is an especially bad segment that has you wiping out villages of people wearing grass skirts and ceremonial garb while howling like animals. A file found in the village says that the virus caused them all to start "dressing up like their ancestors" which is a rather poor excuse

i don't want Silent Hill 2 again, but I do want it to FEEL like the good Silent Hills. When I play a SH game I have certain expectations in terms of atmosphere and horror. The series has not had a good track record for a very long time, and $70 feels like quite the gamble

Oh? I was a little concerned because from the trailers and stuff it didn't look like it quite captured the classic silent hill feel, but that sounds interesting. Although 70$ is a pretty tall ask.
