Me: did you know that canned pumpkin pie filling is actually squash, of the species Curcubita moschata? Jack'OLantern pumpkins are Curcubita pepo. But the definition of pumpkin is flexible.
My Daughter: we were just discussing how long it would take for you to mention that today.

Report from our collaborators now published: an improved method using the dsRNA-binding protein B2 from flock house virus to enrich viral RNA for sequencing. Quicker and much cheaper that previous methods and commercial kits.

Indeed, Daphne has had a very productive career, contributing important insights into the mechanisms of self incompatibility.
