Thank you, I saw a post a while ago and I've been walking around thinking that I was sure he'd passed away many years ago.

Agreed. Where's the pushback though? I'm not having it that journalists, tech industry folk etc. etc. don't have huge concerns, so why are we sleepwalking into this? I'm not a conspiracy theorist by nature but this is all so suspicious.

We're beyond that point aren't we? Things are happening on a daily basis that are blatantly unacceptable and should be challenged and resisted by the press corps, and yet nothing ever happens. They're cowards and they're letting down your country just when they're most needed. 😞

The bombardment of companies pushing AI down our throats, the remarkable lack of scrutiny and use of sympathetic and passive language from the media in response, is all really scary. It seems positively dystopian to me.

The people demonstrating love their country and are fighting to save it from autocracy, there's obviously a concerted attempt to create a false narrative. They're scared and they're showing it.
