One of my absolute favorite things about being a discovery writer, is sometimes I write something I didn't expect, and I love it so much that even though I know it'll change the rest of the book, I just gotta do it.

I'm getting ready for my trip to Houston in a couple weeks. A school is bringing me in as their featured author, and I'll be doing an assembly, and teaching four classes and signing books!

I'll also be doing a bookstore event with Blue Willow Books!

I highly suggest you do NOT accidentally spill a cup of boiling water from the crock pot on your socked foot.

I did it recently, and I 100% do not recommend.

I'm still really bothered that if someone looks up a review for Sky's End on Google, the first review on Google reviews is from someone claiming my book is AI and then rants about AI.

I worked on this book for so many years with my own human hands and mind. It's really unfair to me and my journey.

Behind the Glass went on sub to publishers in August 2020.

It got an offer in October 2024.

It's planned for release in Fall 2026, and will be my fourth published book, and first sci-fi.

I sent my first query for SKY'S END on March 17th, 2017.

That book became a trilogy.

Nine years later, the final book in the trilogy, DOWNFALL, releases on March 17th, 2026.

Nothing like seeing someone leave a review claiming your book is AI when I wrote the book in 2016.

Guys, just because you don't like a book it doesn't mean it's AI.

Writing stories is my passion. I'd rather chew razor blades than use generative AI to write my stories.
