The Tiny Dancers are spitters. They all spit at each other, at me, at ChaCha, but this is the first time I caught a spit on video, courtesy of Tango. (When kittens this age spit, it's usually either to get someone's attention or in the course of playing.)

ChaCha's the first mama I've had in a while who doesn't occasionally go up on a cat tree or one of the wall shelves to get some peace and quiet from her kittens.

FYI: (1) It's non-clumping litter, (2) this is what kittens do when they're figuring out the litter box, (4) It's clean litter (because they're not using the litter box yet).

Tango in my lap. He loves to climb into my lap and roll around with his feet in the air. He also likes to climb the front of my shirt and hang there while I kiss him. He is unbearably cute.

Some of the kittens are tussling, and then Mambo climbs into the litter box and starts chowing down. (The litter is clean; they haven't started using the litter box yet, but should pretty soon. Eating litter at this age is normal - it's how they figure things out.)

These little muffinheads are 4 weeks old. Everyone's continuing to do well and gaining weight (everyone is over 1 pound now!) In the next week they'll start using the litter box, and will explore more and more of the room. Check out their weight chart, link below.

This morning when I walked into the room, they were crammed between the end of the crate, and the litter box. Seems comfy! (Tango in the back, Flamenco in front of him, Sashay in front of her, and Mambo on the right.)

They're all out of the crate now - they come out, look around, and go back. They're not ready to be out of the crate for GOOD yet. They've checked out the litter box, but none have used it yet. I predict someone will either later today or tomorrow.
