These are Android devices made specifically for console emulation. They come prepacked with emulators but it's possible to completely reprogram these things with whatever OS and emulators you'd like.

Not the fault of the console though, but of currently available emulators. However, they do have a tech demo showing that their console can handle it.

Anbernic hasn't announced a date yet, but they have a track record of releasing a product 2-3 weeks after their announcement trailer comes out, so very very soon!

I have an RGCubeXX, a $60 budget model, and I can confirm the quality will be just as good as Nintendo.

Honestly I don't hate Nintendo, I'm just ashamed of them. They've been shady and disgusting in the past, like with the NES, but with Shuntaro Furukawa in charge it's been significantly worse. Patents galore, the inability to use used games, a $500 brick, it's a nightmare.
