Woke up with sore feet but all well worth it. We poured our hearts into this one and it feels so good to see the result. So proud of the work we did and optimistic about where we are going in our neighborhood and the work Emma will do.

Plus turquoise really was the best of the colours out there.

I’m glad they priced it out if it was solely paid for by debt with a mere $150 million in interest because I have it on very good authority we have exactly that much hidden in the couch cushions at city hall.

Hard to believe there’s a single part of this that’s motivated by safety instead of it being a convenient feel good excuse for complaining about aesthetics. Either be honest about you not liking to see it or don’t lump it in with safety concerns.
