haha it took me a while after my "egg cracked" unfortunately. I took up (mild) queerphobia as a tool of survival when I was isolated as a young queer person. gatekeepy ideas about who's "really" trans and such. took a while to unlearn that too :') luckily my university was very queer

honestly, almost every facet of our society serves to tell us the free market (among other things) is good - or at least something with no valid alternatives. it takes a lot of work to unlearn that. a lot of people I really respect still fail to take that step :')
