Vamos is an evolution of a normal enemy that was cut from the game, and they share the same character data. That enemy (and Vamos) have two movesets: Greataxe and Pickaxe (None exists for hammer).

The greataxe moveset works fine! Pickaxe, as seen, does not.

Dark Souls 1: Vamos type big skeleton enemy wearing a golden grown, spider shield, and greataxe. He is t-posing which is scary.

Dark Souls 1 datamining: Vamos' pickaxe dont work

Vamos the blacksmith has 6 attacks. However, the moveset is bugged so 5 of the 6 attacks cannot hurt you.

Why does this happen? Well, it's pretty interesting.
