The kid has completely latched onto Love Love Peace Peace from Måns and Petra, which is a great song, but something continues to bother me that has bothered me since 2016: they twice use the word “efficient” when the better word, and probably more correct word in context is “effective”.

Guillermo del Toro and Netflix have announced plans to form a new stop motion studio that will be both a studio and a school to push the medium forward and will develop plans to make Del Toro's next stop motion project after Pinocchio. I'm very hyped to see what this leads to!

Tron: Ares is rife with empty and shallow dialogue, but twas a visual treat and I had a great time. Jared Leto sucks and I wish he wasn’t in it, but I think it was perfectly fine.

As far as big, dumb, cool-looking movies go I will always take TRON over Avatar. Our theatre was 90% empty tonight though so I feel like I’m in the minority on that one.

I’ve learned to be okay with the notion that no one who works on the TRON franchise knows anything about technology. They’re fun, silly movies that look really great and have great soundtracks and that’s okay.
