I think more games should be following the Monolith Soft standard of letting you buy relatively isolated DLC expansions as standalone games. Good practice that would open the door to trying a lot of games I'd be hesitant to buy the full version of

Agree with the sentiment to the extent where I think saying it's only one or two designs every batch is maybe underselling a little bit the extent to which Pokémon likes to get silly with it nowadays
