Fortunately it ends up being like a stuttering and not a starting over each time. My brain retained the information but my access to it is all messed up so i have to have something that literally reminds me. 🫂🫀

Thank you! Shark Hat is a felt costume shark head (in my PFP right now too) i got in a thrift store when i was 19. It is much beloved. The boys had it in their costume box for a few years but now it has been reclaimed by me for frivolity sake. 🫀

Note: if i forget something, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t a big issue to me.

At this point i go days sometimes without remembering exactly where i am with my own health conditions.

I have had to “remember” 5 or 6 times in 24 hours that my godmother passed.

It’s just where i’m at

I was reminded of the banning of long time users and general backturning on the trans community. I know a lot of the folk i follow have been quieter on here because of that. 😞

I feel all that. And I tend to keep to my safe bubbles i’ve created with lists and y’all tend to be more early adopters and folks i’ve known elsewhere.
I’d be thinking more about other platforms (bc trans issues) if i wasn’t slowly phasing out my social media.

I’m in and out a lot of days, but some days it’s all my brain will comfortably focus on so i just browse. And yeah, it feels like the last few times i’ve done that it is a lot quieter. 😞
