I remember being in high school and feeling jealous/angry at beautiful celebrities that got the attention of boy peers or maybe had the potential of interacting with my celebrity crush. It’s a much bigger scale today tho with so many social media sites to voice your opinion and find your hive

I hate to see the TikTok comments on blackpink videos being full of teenage girls leaving misogynist remarks. Canon event, I guess. Men don’t respect you more for trying to distance yourself from other women. I know a lot of these kids don’t see their comments as sexist but as an adult, ouch

I am just so frustrated by this. It’s made up. No where in the handbook does it say I have to be VIEWED by other people. This job has exacerbated my health issues and now I’m being punished for staying home. Sure.

I feel insane like I am so angry but there’s nothing I can do except comply. That said, if my promotion hinges only on how much people see me, I might as well drop the extracurriculars. I don’t have enough time or energy to do my regular work, why bother prioritizing the extras if it doesn’t matter
