My brother, my niece and nephew are coming to visit for a week starting Sunday. Can’t wait to see them all again. Going to be a fun week. Got an AEW PPV to watch with them as well. Good times!

It would. Could headline the Dome in January with that match. Not sure NJPW will do that though, unless Okada will put him over. I’d like to see them get a younger guy built up and have them made by beating Takeshita, but not until middle of next year. I think Takeshita gets a long run.

On a tag team match kick today. Midnight Express v Fantastics on now. Holy shit those southern style tag matches are so great and their spirit is really kept alive in AEW these days. Also, the crowd heat is so crazy. There’s a sunset flip spot that gets a bigger pop than most finishes today! 🤼

Takeshita with the huge win for the IWGP Title. I’ve never seen that man have a bad match, or even an average match. The kind of talent that NJPW should absolutely build around as they try to regroup and get interest in their product back. Plus this can affect AEW/Okada too. Great move all round. 🤼

I don’t watch current WWE. Haven’t for years. But can’t deny how good the WWE Vault on You Tube is. Example A from today. It opens with Rockers v Orient Express - a 1990 tag match that wouldn’t look out of place in 2025. Love me some good tag team wrestling. 🤼

With the games at Wembley and Tottenham Stadium in recent years it’s getting much more popular. On TV every week on Sky, we get red zone too. BBC have live coverage too some weeks. The NFL really pushing to expand into UK and Europe for sure. I’d expect a London based team in future.

I don’t think it’s good that we have an entire class of media elites who believe that people getting mad at them means they’re doing a good job, but identifying that makes me wonder if it’s actually better to not get mad at them and deprive them of what they want.

Watching a Bas Rutten v Minoru Suzuki fight from Pancrase back in 93. With Bas doing commentary on it. It absolutely rules. This is from the era where Suzuki looked like a 1950s movie idol. Both guys are absolute killers. Really interesting to see how each guy fought in two different styles. So cool
