I was trying to re-watch Alien 3, the assembly cut, and it really is one of my least favorite sequels of all time. Fuck this fucking movie. While this cut isn't as bad as the theatrical cut, it's still an exercise in polishing a turd. The comic book Aliens Book One is the true sequel.

It took a number of tries, but I beat the 4th level of Cruelty Squad, where you take down a police station. There's so many corridors where enemies will start smashing down doors and swarming you in great numbers. I barely remembered to get the flashlight before leaving.

It's a good day for Splinter Cell, the Netflix anime series is getting good reviews and Pandora Tomorrow has finally been released on Steam, apparently there used to be an issue with shadows and it's been fixed for re-release, so I now have the complete series on my account.

My current re-watch is Things, at least it's the Rifftrax version. It's one of those incomprehensibly bad movies where I have to keep watching it, and it still makes absolutely zero sense, and is one long series of baffling decisions.

The Table Company on HBO was a damn good pilot, there's the usual awkward comedic style of Tim Robinson, but it's the mystery conspiracy plot that keeps getting more bizarre that makes it something even more compelling. I can't wait to see where this show goes next.

Three years ago, I adopted a shelter dog, she was 3 years old at the time. I've always been a cat person, but after my perfect cat, I wanted to change things up, and I found my perfect dog, our personalities match up very closely. We bring out the best in each other.

Of the cans of dog food I've been getting, they have flavors of New York strip steak, t-bone, filet minion, and savory beef cuts. I'm almost slightly curious if there is an actual flavor difference, my dog loves it all regardless. But it's best to leave it her taste buds. It's not Mad Max yet.
