2/3 Abi started running three years ago, inspired by Henry’s determination to take every step, from crawling to walking to school each day. Swapping nights out for weekend jogs, she poured herself into training, proving that dedication and a little inspiration can go a long way.
1/3 🏃‍♀️Meet Abi, a special needs teacher from Essex with a heart as big as her running spirit. This year, she ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Mencap, as a thank you to Mencap, who supported her family when her nephew Henry was born with Down Syndrome.
3/3 Every step they take is for brighter futures, healthier lives, and greater opportunities for people with a learning disability.
