I played a bunch from like 2010-2020 and then took a break till a couple months back and I was like... floored by how the skill floor rose in the game, everyone buys wards? like you almost always have a support trying to ward/deward, there's a lot of nuances that everyone just kinda gets now.

The only way that could make this story better is if you ended up winning cuz the bonus gold from them leaving gave you a lead. I just got back into dota after not playing for a bit and it's just as wild today, just had a jugg who hoarded all the wards in their pack and then cried "no wards"
