Something that's been itching the back of my mind lately is the idea of making 3D backgrounds and environments to frame and draw 2D characters on.

I've dabbled with Blender. I know my way around the basics, but texturing and frame composition is something I'm going to have to learn.

Current opinion of TF2 as a new player: I really don't like the 12v12 format for casual matches. I don't feel that I have an opportunity to learn in such an environment where so much is going on. Rarely do I die understanding how or why.

The game is fun, but maybe I got in too late.
