I had to google this same thing. “No states have recall elections for U.S. senators because federal law prevents states from recalling members of Congress. The U.S. Constitution does not allow for state-level recall elections for federal offices like U.S. senator or representative.”

I guess some of it is about the destruction of history. But I think it's mostly about the feeling of helplessness. There's nothing we can do to stop him.
