They made a really good point about people needing to get into a different head space from last season. Most of this season is going to be horrible, we lack individual quality, our strength lies in the team performance, it’s going to be ugly & often not enough. Hold our nerve & do our thing, repeat.

Pragmatic, made me feel better tbh. I can’t handle the constant head loss this season so I was ready for emergency jelly & Aldi visits but they were all very level headed about it.

Maybe better overall team was the wrong description, I don’t know if it’s the lineup changes this season but they don’t seem as gelled as they have previously whereas we for the most part have seemed quite solid.

They have some quality players but I think we’re a better overall team, they’re not a team who gives up or slows down so that’ll be the real test, who can keep up the tempo longer & stay switched on, hopefully their midweek game helps us edge it.

Nothing encapsulates his presidency more perfectly than him destroying the actual White House & remodelling it in his cheap gaudy taste, of course he started with the East Wing… the part traditionally used by the fist lady’s, he can’t hide his disdain for women in everything he does.
