New study reports a median abundance of 17.4 #microplastics per L in surface waters near an #Antarctic research station. This is a value comparable to or exceeding levels in more populated coastal areas globally. 53% of all particles were in the 20–50 μm range.

Maritime Stratocumulus Wolken verschwinden, das ist schlecht, denn sie wirken kühlend. Ist der Ozean wärmer lösen sich die Wolken weiter auf und der Ozean erwärmt sich. Eine gefährliche Kettenreaktion, die sich global auswirkt.

Scientific journals HAVE to do better, implement ROBUST SCREENING TOOLS including comparisons of online supplements, to protect science AND their own credibility!
