My synopsis writing process always goes through five emotional stages:

1. Denial (I don’t need one)
2. Anger (this is impossible)
3. Bargaining (can I just send the whole book?)
4. Depression (I’ll never be a writer)
5. Acceptance (fine, here’s a terrible one)
