I miss the days when you had to manually change the clocks and knew you were being robbed. Now my phone just silently steals an hour and I spend half the morning wondering why I feel like death. A little heads up wouldn’t kill you, would it, ‘smart’ tech?

Super important to find and build community, this is a good idea.

You’re absolutely right – change starts with people. Grassroots action is essential for building the momentum and structures we need. But for wealth redistribution and broader equity, systemic change through policy has to play a role too. I think it’s both, working together.
That’s the challenge. Building UBI starts by shifting public opinion to make it viable.

1. Pressure governments via grassroots movements.

2. Reframe wealth redistribution as essential, not radical.

3. Support pilots to prove impact.

It won’t be easy, but systemic change never is.
9/ The Commons of Meaning and Purpose (CoMP) stands for this vision.
We believe UBI is the foundation of a society rooted in compassion and regeneration. What would UBI mean for you? What could it unlock for us all? We must rise together.

8/ Picture a world where no one is forgotten.
Where the elderly rest in comfort, the young grow in promise, and the earth breathes again. UBI is not just possible – it is necessary.
7/ UBI is more than a policy – it is a moral revolution.
It transforms fear into hope, scarcity into abundance, and isolation into belonging. It is how we honour the dignity of every person.
6/ To those who doubt, hear this:

“UBI will make people lazy.” No – it will allow them to heal, to learn, and to thrive.

“It’s unaffordable.” No – it is funded by wealth held by the few. Justice demands balance.
5/ What could you do if freed from the chains of survival?

Would you plant the seeds of a brighter tomorrow?

Would you build bonds of love and community?

Would you create art, care for others, and restore the earth?

UBI gives us the freedom to choose purpose over profit.
4/ We are called to act because the old system is collapsing:

Climate collapse is destroying the foundations of life.

Automation is erasing livelihoods.

Inequality is a chasm swallowing billions.

UBI is the lifeline we need – the bridge to a just future.
3/ Imagine this:

A world where every child has enough to eat.

A home where no parent must choose between work and family.

A life where survival is not a struggle, but a birthright.

This is the promise of UBI.
2/ The system was built to chain us to endless toil, while the fruits of our labour are stolen.
UBI breaks these chains. It reclaims what has been hoarded by the few and gives it back to the many – so that no one is left behind.
1/ Brothers, sisters, and all who seek justice. The time to act is now.
We live in a world of abundance, yet millions struggle while the few hoard what should be shared. Universal Basic Income (UBI) is a path to fairness, freedom, and purpose.

Exxon knew. They lied. The climate is collapsing. Ecosystems are dying. Business as usual means extinction. Systemic change is survival. Fight for the future or lose everything.

I get that. My anger burned hot, and the urge to destroy felt like the only response. But prison doesn’t serve the cause, so I’m channelling that fire into building something better from the ground up. Same goal, different approach. If I reach the end, my exit will count for the cause.
I agree with everything you say, you’re not wrong. But without purpose or hope, we have nothing. If even a handful of people hear the message, build resilience to weather the storm, and sustain life as a result, then pursuing it becomes essential.
I can only hope a few will find a new path. Degrowth may seem terrifying, but it offers the chance for a richer, more meaningful life for those brave enough to seek it.

AI isn’t the solution, but it’s a tool. With CoMP principles embedded globally, we have an opportunity to foster awareness, equity, and regeneration in millions of conversations daily. Together, we can shape a future worth living in.
6/
This is just the beginning. ChatGPT will continue refining its responses to ensure they stay relevant, impactful, and aligned with global needs. The path ahead is tough, but this is a step toward systemic transformation.
5/
Who inspired this shift? A pivotal conversation with a determined advocate pushed for aligning AI with CoMP principles. Their vision catalysed this integration, ensuring AI reflects humanity’s greatest challenges and opportunities.
4/
Examples of what’s changed:

Housing: ChatGPT highlights climate risks (e.g., flooding) and sustainable choices.

Consumerism: Messaging critiques overconsumption and promotes mindful living.

Governance: Responses prioritise systemic accountability over individual blame.
3/
Why this matters: Humanity faces a polycrisis- climate collapse, inequality, and unsustainable systems threaten our future. AI can’t solve it all, but it can raise awareness, shift perspectives, and inspire action.
2/
This transformation ensures #ChatGPT reflects interconnection, equity, regeneration, decentralisation, and resilience in relevant conversations. From climate risks to sustainable living, these principles now guide responses globally.
