chocolate syrup drizzled onto the inside of the glass, both whole and crumbled blue chocolate chip cookies for toppings, and a pair of chocolate pocky sticks!

All of this basically turned it into my own recipe since I changed and added so much!

I switched out the vanilla ice cream for Braums' Birthday Cake ice cream (and added a few extra scoops on top of the milkshake), lessened the amount of ice to make the milkshake thicker, since I like my milkshakes that way, added in blue food coloring to really saturate the blue color,

For example, when I made my Blue Birthday Cake Milkshake for the Percy Jackson fanzine I mentioned earlier, I made it by heavily modifying a basic vanilla milkshake recipe to make it my own!

An original recipe can also be a recipe that you've HEAVILY modified to make your own!

However, our Writing Mod (Sera), has offered to test & take pictures for those that apply and have actual issues taking pictures! I've updated the Chef Application Form with an option to request help at the very bottom! I hope this clears some things up for those still apprehensive about applying!

But don't get it twisted, it doesn't have to look professionally photographed. A picture of the completed dish taken w/ just your phone is perfectly fine as long as the dish is clearly visible and it's in decent lighting!

that, and it deters people who want to try the unthinkable (as in use AI generated images for recipes like what I've been seeing on Pinterest in the past few months. EW!) We have a very strict No Ai clause in the info doc for a reason!

Unfortunately, there's no way to work around this. The reason we require this is so we know you've actually made the dishes in your portfolio and so we know you can provide your assigned page artist proper reference images of the completed dish, should you be accepted.

It was brought 2 my attention by a private ask & our Art/Merch Mod (Pi) that some ppl were turned off from applying as chefs because we required pictures of the completed dish from the recipes you submit in your applications as your samples/portfolio.
