Please express yourselves, let me know what you think. It's a busy church week as I have the fundraiser tonight, prayer group tomorrow if my computer won't die, gay bingo on Saturday evening, and of course church service on Sunday morning.

I'm not the best on my feet, we all know that, but it's just an hour or so. And I'm hopeful Old First, my church, will show out. Volunteering time is such an important part of the Old First experience. Whether it's feeding the homeless or protesting the regime...we're out there.

What should I do? The intent is for this to be a rally and protest, there will be speakers and all that. My pastor is focused more on the protest walk from City Hall to Indeoendence Mall, which may take approximately an hour. Police will be there but a mostly white crowd will likely quell violence.

I am one of the 92% and I am proud of it. We have been standing on business and telling folks we are not playing another game of Operation: Human Shield. Staying home sipping tea, reading, and keeping out heads above water is important. But, for me, so is work for my church, my Lord.

So, my church will be marching in the No Kings march on Saturday. My pastor is very disappointed and concerned about the lack of response and initiative from UCC and churches in general. During the Civil Rights Era churches were at the center of the fight. Now, despite a few folks, it's been

Ahh, OK. If this roommate is a nice person and not doing anything to cause his ire then he's going to have to get his shit together or leave. That's not cool. The home has to be a comfortable and safe place for everyone who lives there. Seems like he has no real reason to be a jackass.

Because life lives to kick me in my $13,000 mouth. I have therapy after work and then after therapy I'm heading to a fundraiser to benefit the housing my church sponsors. We needed people repping at the Old First table. Michael asked me on Monday and of course I said yes.

I'm cute but I'm totally not cure enough to get away with a semi-public, sleep deprived crash out. Also, if I plan this right I could avoid crash out and just have a couple few metaphorical tumbles, where I pick myself up, dust off, and keep it moving.

I'd rather be a natural zombie than a medically induced zombie. So, I feel OK right now and I'll likely habe 2 cups of coffee for 24 oz, but I still think I'll crash somewhere around 11:30, 12 p.m. The coffee will stop it, hopefully, from being a total, skidmarks in the street flame out.

I didn't sleep last night. These days insomnia is rare for me and its possible I could've taken a sleep aid and slept last night but I've stopped taking it for the most part and if you have less than 6 hours to devote to sleeping you'll be a zombie the next day.

Oh OK. So why is this becoming a situation where you think you're enabling laziness if he's upkeeping, caring for animals, etc. Is this more about him getting a job or other means to touch grass and contribute to society or at least pay rent?

Oh yeah, I've seen it. No concessions should be given to men like thus when it comes to having women, chatGPT women or otherwise. They need therapy and deprogramming, not coddling.

I just have this feeling that this will do more harm than good. Because I've always felt like this was more about the ability to get laid than to get relationships. They want their pick of their league women because they feel deserving.

I think what pisses me off about this Trump on the cover of TIME thing is the audacity. The few victories this dude has had he's totally stumbled onto, did no real work or diplomacy because he doesn't know how to do those things. So it's just another gimme for him, an open book test he can't fail.

It's time for him to move on. He should be applying for subsidized and /or affordable housing. I don't know what city you're in but there are waiting lists. Until then he could afford a studio or even a room but he needs to venture out on his own. It's past time I think.
