i also recently realized that ive basically been drawing studio trigger eyes this entire time, i just never decided to pay close attention to any rendering with the iris LOL
i finally fixed my TVP brushes. had a bunch of really nice brushes a while back and then i lost all of them after a power outage. so i recently scribbled out some textures on a sheet of paper using a dry sharpie and got some nice animated brush tips ayyyyy
been diving into archeology recently. fucking love petroglyphs and pictographs
oh yeah forgot to even mention LOL i drew this for a cover of mine. im REALLY REALLY REALLY proud of this cover actually, this is my first time using reaper with a full band mix. fulfilled all of the positions for a full band. guitars, bass, drums, vocals AAAAAA

here's some of the scans i used hehe
oh thank you so much! yeah im definitely gonna be doing more of this stuff. i really love the idea of heavily distorting something with a scanner to see what happens, and then just repurposing it into a new texture LOL i have 2GB of scans from just this drawing alone
did this doodle today. the process for this one is REALLY weird. i actually did the sketch/lines on paper, and colored it digitally.
the wild background with the really weird textures is actually a bunch of really distorted scans of random things that i found around the house
flash 8 is kind of insane actually
I figured out reaper on a very basic level. from now on I think I might continue to record/splice all of my main instrument tracks in audacity for the convenience, but I'll record vocals and mix/master everything in reaper lol
icon vs artist hehe
trying to satisfy the smooth animation part of my little brain
"not the same anymore" by the strokes
first time sorta successfully doing a full band scenario.
everything performed by me with live equipment. the drums were recorded in 2 separate takes using 2 mics at different distances from the kit, its a super basic setup but its best i can do for now
pushing audacity to it's limits. finally managed to record drums ayyyy
the power went out a few days ago and i just noticed that TVPaint didn't save any of the custom brushes that i made
pretty sure videos on here don't even have framerates high enough for this animation oh damn LMFAO
48fps animation, mostly on 1s ayyyyy
started this a little over 2 years ago and got burnt out. finally finished it weeee
had a ton of fun with these animation exercises. i specifically wanted to practice stuff like subtle actions involving the whole body, shifting body weight, and different contact points for balance
quick animation from last night. tried using my left hand for the green stick but gave up after like 20 frames LOL my wrist was not having it
aaaaaaaa did this in TVPaint over the span of a week. started with just a hand and then added a body. took a while to get this figured out
never really figured out how to draw backgrounds or outside environments but im just gonna try wing it lol thankfully i have a lot of photo reference of specific important places
storyboards on my short film for cookie shall BEGIN
gotta sketch out some basic environments and floor layouts. ill gonna figure out the music as i go, fall into a free-flow movement rather than stiffen up the production early on.
rough camera approach practice animation. been wanting to push myself to start getting comfortable with different forms as they get closer and further away from the camera. get used to those extreme angles and silly high FOV things
oh thank you! ive always struggled at keeping volume consistent haha so that means a lot
a little spinny hand. done on 1s in TVPaint. animated in about 3 hours or so
cool little color test thingy i did with true grit texture supply stuff. TGTS has some of my favorite brushes ive ever used
