I'm not sure what the wisest-sounding language possible is, but Chinese read with Japanese on'yomi pronunciations would be up there as far as my ears go

I do not like making a consequentialist argument this direct but what do they actually think would happen if they cave in and ban Singal? Would Singal's influence decrease or increase? Would Bluesky's influence decrease or increase?

I sometimes forget how impressive the resident Bluesky bot accounts are! They read so naturally, and induce a much greater shock about the state of AI in me than any of the big lab product demos do

now I wonder if alternating between scheduled and unscheduled weeks could be something that works? I have a similar problem where I feel like I'm behind on ~everything and I'm pretty sure being organised would help, but it also feels quite alien to me and not sure I could manage it 24/7

(admittedly the only thing keeping me using Twitter as the default is network effects 😦 density of exciting stuff is greater there still 😦
like there could have been a world where the fun cluster moved here and ignored this type of accounts, just as in this world we try to ignore the racists there)

Due to the meaning of numbers in Chinese culture, "auspicious" numbering system was adopted by the developers, where the top floor was "88" – Chinese for double fortune. It is already common in Hong Kong for ~4th floors not to exist; there is no requirement by the Buildings Department for numbering other than that it being "made in a logical order."[14] A total of 42 intermediate floor numbers are omitted from 39 Conduit Road: those missing include 14, 24, 34, 64, all floors between 40 and 59; the floor number which follows 68 is 88.
