Tantalisingly close to 100%ing it but Absolute Radiance is such a crap shoot - feels like there's basically just a coin flip in whether I can get her or not while practising, so I think I may just have to start transitioning to Pantheon of Hallownest runs and hoping for good luck!

Went back to Hollow Knight post-Silksong which has been a fascinating experience - it stills holds up easily, but you can really feel the difference between controlling the Knight and Hornet.

Every basic income pilot scheme ends up showing the same thing: people are happier, more stable, and generally the government (or other issuing body) manages to profit from it too!

If anyone tells you these programs are unworkable, they are either lying or misinformed.

I may be clutching at straws but I do feel like there's potentially an argument to be made that Sunshine was something of a precursor to Odyssey in terms of augmenting the platforming - ie FLUDD and Cappy both open up new and distinct ways of controlling Mario compared to say 64 or Galaxy

I feel like the Galaxies are definitely stronger in terms of like, mechanics and finer control and stuff (ie to actually play) but Sunshine will always have a spot in my heart for vibes alone!

Plus - it feels like Silksong is just much bigger and longer than HK? And so the odds of making that one mistake that will land you with a game over are heightened just because you have to spend more time in it, if that makes sense

Like, I did Steel Soul for Hollow Knight and it was hard and tense but felt achievable after I'd really fully familiarised myself with the game.

It's possible I may come to feel that with Silksong but right now it feels like with the ratcheted up speed and intensity of fights there's just no way

So I finished up Silksong the other day, 100% (because I am that kind of sicko). Spent about two hours on turn final boss but felt real good to get it down!

One thing I will say - I simply cannot fathom doing a Steel Soul run of this game

One thing I will say is that I haven't felt the frustration I'm seeing about Silksong's runbacks - there are one or two I've encountered that are marginally frustrating (eg. Hunter's March) but I seem to have avoided the worst of these 5+minute runbacks people are talking about
