Does anybody read history any more, or even remember what they study in high school? History is full of countries where the people got so fed up, they sought change & didn't care about the risk to themselves. If I were a leader of a country, I'd be damn careful how I ruled.

Agree, cats help take us out of our problems, their purring can lower blood pressure and their antics make us release endorphins. Also, it's thrilling to know, that other animals can help humans too. But cats are intriguing, which feeds our brains.

Do you want to tell Mike that if people, including many in the military, need SNAP benefit it's because they aren't paid a decent enough wage to cover the cost of food. Good grief politicians live in a bubble, protected from reality. They need a real life, like us who pay their salaries.

In Shallotte, NC, a motorcyclist stopped at the corner for a red light where protesters were gathered. He didn't like the protest, so on green, he raced off faster than the speed limit, making loud noises. And in 2 seconds we heard a cop siren chasing him down.🤣

An English woman and I stood in front of this painting at the Norman Rockwell Museum, talked about the state of the world and teared up. When we parted, we hugged each other and told each other to not lose heart. I felt so much better. We need more N. Rockwells in this world!😊
