I got 3 scary push notifications on 3 different mediums from Norwegian starting with "we're sorry" and turns out it was a worry for nothing, they were just telling me they're out of lunch menus on the flight.

So, I am not allowed to request my ADHD medications "too early", because what it I get more before I am out and start hoarding and selling them

But my health provider can take up to a week to approve my request, with no explanation

It took me 2 years to manage to get an EU health insurance card in Sweden but finally today I got to use it and guess what?
The pharmacy told me to eat it and pay up!
Without a prescription _from the country I was visiting_ there was nothing to be done.

For all those annoyed by GDPR go look at your favourite service and check whether or not you have an opt-out option that will apply to their website and parents/subsidiaries outside the EU and friends.
For ex LinkedIn's promise to not feed your data to Copilot only applies to EU.

Yeah. At least for hiring they take a one time fee. But getting a multiple digit percent cut in perpetuity for this is insane.

They remind me of the meat sellers that prey on graduates and call themselves "consulting firms" except those at least offer you the logistics to do contract work on a permanent employment basis, if that's your thing.

Freelance "companies" will take an undisclosed cut (but usually 15% or more) of the contracts they "find" for you and won't even bother reading your CV before they forward you a job posting they received in the hopes that it matches but by pure coincidence.

Technically they could also be doing the conversion back to linear by hand in the shaders when sampling but that seems unlikely.

I've been looking at a few small engines on GitHub and they often seem to upload color textures from PNG as linear RGBA8.
Am I missing something or is this a real issue I stumbled upon?

I fixed a bug yesterday in my GLTF texture asset loader.
Spec mandates that albedo and other color related textures should be sRGB regardless of what the image metadata might say, and likewise normals and metallic/roughness should be linear.
Is that well known?
