I haven't quite tuned in how the new cutter obliterates a little more material when it cuts so mine aren't as tight as I want yet. Really should get around to that.
But I use it to cut my lino registration jigs and I've not set anything on fire myself yet so I think that part came across well enough!
When I did induction on the laser cutter at the local Hackspace I was implored never to leave it alone because it will set things on fire very happily.

When we managed to upgrade it, the re-induction emphasised that the new one was even more willing to start fires with its higher power laser.
But but but what happens if we let kids vote before we've properly beaten down their sense of fairness and taught them to support entrenched power structures?
I've been very confused by electric spaces that aren't for charging. Not sure why they're a thing in some places. But people who park non electric vehicles in charging bays drive me nuts because we need those!!
Tempted to make an actual three legged bird linocut now.
Aaaargh what?? That's really sad. We need to empower kids.
I was just thinking now he's going to have to deal with a bunch of fans thinking he's dead.
Yesterday I witnessed a man and a woman a good twenty years older than me doing this in a pub. I couldn't believe it.
What does he have against happiness? Why is everything he says about making more people miserable?
Charlie Kirk, threatener of violence, who you amplify the public discourse of?

You could have just said nothing, you know - that's as much respect as he deserved.
My company desperately wants it to be true.

It's not, though. You can tell because the coding productivity revolution hasn't happened despite us having the tools available.
Are you sure that the processing capacity can't be used for something else? There won't be immediate demand for it but I didn't think these things were running on single purpose hardware - isn't it just big GPUs?
We also have studies showing it doesn't make coding faster. Hopefully there'll eventually be enough of those to convince even the most credulous CTO.
It's good for students to learn about it because maybe they can understand why using an LLM to write their homework isn't a good idea.
Not that I recall. It's like people actually believe it's useful and totally game changing, but it so obviously isn't that I'm finding the whole thing quite confusing.
And why shouldn't men wear dresses anyway I think this is evidence in favour of widening our pointlessly restrictive fashion conventions.
So it could actually be India and China rather than only the US then?
Why is Starmer making such ridiculous comments? Does he want to lose any remaining shred of respect he has?
It's about as likely as there being some oxygen in my next inhale.
Has it ever been about the science?
I hope he gets bitten by every flying insect we've got.
That is a good question to ask though because you eventually realise society would be great if nobody was scared of not being able to eat.
The plan could include ways to reduce train ticket prices. But I'm not holding my breath for that one.
