I was forced to study, in grades 5-10 at school and in college, the theory and history of practical applications of the things this person hopes to accomplish. That way lies death, civil war, and famine. Followed by the new regime eating its own.

Side note, some of the things I've heard in the 00s and early 10s because I'm a blue-eyed blonde and so was assumed to think like that too, were wild.

Took me all the way back to 80s Russia, when guys would talk shit about Jews to me *as a way of flirting* because I didn't look like one

Fair warning, that group told it in the sense of "we shouldn't have to do that"

First piece of dating advice I got after my separation was also in that group, from someone I never saw or spoke to again. "Never date a black guy. If you do, word will get out & no white man will want you" (ooh scary)

Someone in a group I hung out with in early 00s because I didn't know any better, told me this joke back then: "how does every Black joke start?" - (looks over both shoulders)

Now they just say it all online and get awards & political office positions 4 it.

First time I met with this belief system in the US was when a family friend drove us to our first apartment from the airport when we arrived, and, during the ride, gave us tips on living here. Only advice of his on that ride that I remember was "careful around the blacks. They know what we say about

This is a good reminder to myself to get started on the book already.

From what I understand, the book is focusing on, not the voters, but the DC insiders.

I also clearly remember a video AOC telling us who the one group was that wanted Harris off the ballot the most - the wealthy Dem donors.

Put it this way, for the first time in my life I found myself agreeing with Vivek on something. In other firsts, first time in my life found myself feeling bad for Vivek and wanting to hurt the people who hurt him.

Obv, I dislike the guy and don't look forward to my 🤡👠 state electing him Governor.

Friend loves the US culture and traditions, and tries to emulate them (minus Halloween ofc)

Friend had a garage sale in his church and wrote an update about it. Sale was a hit, they sold everything. Friend commented: "as they say, a man's junk is somebody else's treasure"

because otherwise I wasn't going to know if and when my allies would turn on me, or on someone like me. Am I overthinking it, maybe. But having lived the first half of my life in a country where you never knew when your friend, colleague, lover, would go "eww, those Jews, amirite", I tend to do so.
