Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup

This soup is seasoned only with salt and pepper. However, it’s creamy and has a lot of flavors.
It’s good either hot or cold.

Curry Flavored White Meat Fish Meunière

I put curry powder on tilapia and meunièred. The vegetables are colorful sweet peppers and potatoes. They were also seasoned with curry powder.

I like shishito peppers a lot. I usually cook them with soy sauce, black vinegar, chili peppers and minced garlic, but this is also good.
It's a kind of strange combination, but good.

I put some dill after steaming and squeezed a quarter of lemon before eating.
Steamed Red Salmon with White Wine

The best parts of steamed dishes are that you can cook with vegetables and don’t have to change the plates after steaming. The other ingredients are shishito peppers, tomtoes, yellow squash slices.

This is a purely Japanese cuisine that the people of other countries don't know much.
That means I should desalt the herring first and dry it with a dehydrator.
So the process is to desalt→dry→cook.
The result was amazing. It was exactly the glazed herring I thought. It was extremely delicious.
Japanese Sweet Glazed Herring

I wanted to get Japanese dried herring, but I couldn’t. So I decided to make an outrageous attempt. However, I couldn’t find even raw one, so I was forced to use the salted one I had bought at a Russian market.

Beef Liver Pate

I had left-over beef liver after photoshoots. I reduced the amount of olive oil.
The herbs are Italian herb mix. I put it on slices of rye bread.

Burdock Root with Bibimbap Sauce

I cooked sliced burdock roots with water, soy sauce and mirin (sweet sake), and then mixed them with bibimbap sauce.
Having bibimbap sauce in a fridge is useful. It can be used for variety of dishes.

Japanese Sweet Potato and Cucumber Salad

I mixed them with a bit sweet dressing made with yogurt and honey.
I also put green peas, red onions and carrots.

Monarch Butterfly

I could take the picture of Monarch butterfly first time.
It was disappointing not to be able to take a picture when it opened the wings, but it was truly gorgeous even it was closing the wings.
