- Bee works as a royal guard at the palace
- With the kingdom in political limbo (i.e. run by a small child), the militia’s duties have been reduced to daily training, patrol shifts, and menial errand running: this leaves Bee with a lot of free time.
- Bee is a budding magician. Her dad is a powerful mage, so she is learning what she can from puppycat in order to deconstruct her own past.
- Bee is human, but cannot thrive on her own. She is kept alive by a constant stream of telepathic magic coming from her dad somewhere out in the universe.
