Disappearing under the leaves
It’s a galeux d’eysines. I’ve seen them on insta but never irl
A friend won a guess the weight competition for a massive pumpkin. It’s far too big for them so she gave me a quarter, which will keep me in soup and chillies and curries for ages. It’s knobbly on the outside but lovely and golden inside, and makes a lovely coloured soup
Just watched Ep1 of #TheWitcherIV and, although I was dubious about the change from Henry Cavill , I think Liam Hemsworth has taken over well
Thinking of the old days with school age children and seemingly a different cold variant every fortnight, and I don’t know how we survived 🤷‍♀️
I’ve just had a cold which completely floored me. For some reason OH didn’t think to test me for COVID so by the time I did a test it was clear. When I was ill I thought I should have had a private jab. Now I’m recovering I’m not sure I’d bother
Walked a little further today, to the park where I can pretend to be walking in the woods
Best for her to conserve her energy just in case …
The rain stopped, the sun came out, and I went for the shortest of short walks (first since I got this dreadful cold) and looked at someone else’s autumnal tree for a change

When in the woods, best beware of dead man's fingers lurking there.
Reaching up above the ground, a creepy fungi to be found.

Happy Halloween everyone.

I’d imagine it did. At the back of the compost bin just doesn’t have the same vibe, does it? 🤣
I’ve just been reading up on them and it may even fruit if the frost doesn’t get it!
I always thought they were plants for a Victorian conservatory so I’m amazed to find it growing outdoors and obviously thriving
This passion flower has burrowed under the back fence and is turning the compost heap corner into somewhere a little more exotic
Having completely lost two days to this cold bug I’m convinced today is Sunday 🤷‍♀️
It’s clear! 🎉 What a relief but it’s the worst cold ever
Go for it! While you’ve the money and the health enjoy them

This house is old,
The ghosts cluster,
Tilted floors,
Creaking floorboards,
The wind finds gaps,
Swears at us in storms,
But it is our house,
We fill it with us,
Bounce laughter,
Off the walls.

I had my flu jab a few weeks ago but I’m too young and fit for a COVID jab. Meanwhile I’m sitting waiting to see if a second red line will appear …
It’s a gorgeous all-seasons garden
