Perennially baffling media phenomenon: when you’ve just published 2500 words on a subject, and PRs pile in suggesting interviews with their clients. On the same subject because obviously you’re immediately going to write about the sam subject all over again.

Trying to learn a bit of basic Portuguese and, flippin' 'eck, it's a toughie. God knows how I managed to learn enough to have a conversation last time I was there seven years ago. Might have to combine my French and Italian, dredge my scrap of Spanish, add a lot of shhh sounds and see how it goes.

This makes me so angry. These people view all life as training for lifelong servitude/work. There's no room for interest, enjoyment, and culture in their bleak vision of education. At least she'll never be in power to see it through. Though Reform are probably worse.
