I’ll need them someday!
Work on the bathroom continues. The toilet has been moved, the shower stall is in, floor tile is laid. Still to be finished: door on stall, fan & light above shower stall, mudding & painting unfinished sheetrock. I’m excited!
Clouds are traveling fast from the SE, but some higher up are moving crosswise.
Wild weather today—a warm wind blowing from the SE, rain in the forecast.
More bog cotton going to seed. Looks like little flowers, or stars.
The foliage color palette has changed to predominantly yellow. Birch and poplar.
The bog cotton was everywhere in between the trees, as far as the eye could see.
Open water at Moose Bog. Very still & quiet today as animals prepare for winter.
Here’s a better picture of the larches and bog cotton at Moose Bog.
The forest around Moose Bog in VT: yellow larches with bog cotton going to seed, looking like a sea of white flowers. A beautiful day today.
Evening sunshine on poplar trees.

Typical October day for the north country. Partly cloudy, calm, 36 degrees F. I expect with the next precipitation we may see snow.
Progress on my remodeled bathroom. My son is a careful, orderly workman. Toilet is being moved today to its new location, silicon sealant in new shower stall is drying, new tile flooring is nearly finished being installed.
Pies for dessert for Delta Chapter’s meeting tomorrow to discuss current issues in public education, in NH & around the US. Our local superintendent will be our facilitator.

The last several days have been windy, calm, rainy, not rainy—I think this is called “unsettled weather.” Brought to you by the nor’easter churning off the mid-Atlantic coast.
I can relate! I have traffic jams like this on my road as well. Frequently!
I hope she is all right! 😯
Yes! Happy Indigenous People’s Day, Lakota Man. I enjoy your informative posts & pictures.
After a beautiful, cloudless day, pink clouds at sunset Saturday evening.
