The Tor Project has built its network so the hosting locations of CSAM sites are nearly impossible to trace. Which, currently leaves law enforcement and hotlines with only one option for takedown requests: the Tor Project itself. 🧑🏼‍💻

Since 2017, Project Arachnid has found:
👉 44,336 onion services hosting CSAM
👉 2,853,485 images/videos of CSAM

And that’s only what was detected with limited resources. The real number is even higher.
