A quiet Saturday evening, and I'm going out for Mexican food. I have this ominous feeling constantly now...like we have to brace for a terrible storm. But nevertheless, I must try to enjoy the present. Have a nice weekend, BlueSky friends! 🦋

"McClain’s position..makes the late reporting of the trades significant, as she is a member of the U.S. House Comm on Financial Services, as well as its Cap. Markets subcomm. The committee has legislative regulatory authority over financial institutions."

But she sure has the time for the camera!

Donald Trump, who was never cuffed and scheduled his own arrests for stealing our nations secrets, thinks ICE hasn’t gone far enough.

On Friday night, Donald Trump held a Great Gatsby-inspired Halloween party themed "A little party never killed nobody.”

On Monday morning, the Trump administration told a judge it will only PARTIALLY fund SNAP and 40 million Americans should expect delays for food benefits.
"I don't know about that. That's not my lane. You'll have to ask the president."
"They are particularly getting hit by the higher cost of ingredients"

Trump just stated in his CBS interview that there isn't any inflation, and prices are coming down.

Democrats could literally just use this clip on its own as a political ad and it would work
Johnson: "If they had no filibuster, they would pack the SCOTUS. You'd go from 9 to 17 or however many liberals they could pack. You would make DC & Puerto Rico into states, which would give 4 additional Democrat senators & make us a permanent minority. You'd see massive restrictions of 2A rights"
The Republicans changed the supermajority rule to push through their SCOTUS nomination in 2017. Why wouldn't they make that change now so they can reopen the government? If Republicans are so sure their CR is great for their constituents, then they should pass it on their own. Go for it!

Can someone ask Mike Johnson how he can justify being Speaker of the House when he can’t answer a single question about what’s going on in this country?

Mike Johnson isn't stupid. He knows he can't defend any of the corruption and cruelty he's enabling. So he cosplays as an ignoramus.
RAJU: Last week you were very critical of Biden's use of the autopen. But Trump admitted on 60 Minutes to not knowing he pardoned a crypto billionaire who pleaded guilty to money laundering. Does that also concern you?

MIKE JOHNSON: I don't know anything about that. I didn't see it. I'm not sure.

Why are we paying them to hide the truth from us?
Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 91st day out of the last 103.

12 days of work in 103 days.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

Exactly. Show him his post first. Put it up on a screen. Then ask him virtually any question about any word, phrase, or sentence in it.

Trump's National Guard deployments aren't random. They were planned years ago
