Not sure if they still do it but when I lived in France the movies would have 2 showtimes posted, one for when all the trailers and commercials are and one for when the movie actually starts. Use to love that.

Is there a way for members in the local to know about events? Sometimes hard for school reps to send out info in a timely manner. Is there a general email sign up? (Asking for someone else as I am not in this local).

In a way yes. These are the results. But in saying that we have become so apathetic to HRM elections it’s like most people don’t care. With online voting, advance voting we should easily have high turnouts but yet we don’t. Really the mayor is generally a popularity contest (at that time) anyway.

I was in Vegas last year where you can walk with alcoholic drinks, be handed cards every in minute to go to various establishments, millions of tourists and their sidewalks were extremely tidy.
